Beneficial Qualities of The
Enlightening Mind

རིན་ཆེན་སེམས་དེ་གཟུང་བར་བྱ་བའི་ཕྱིར།།
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་རྣམས་དང་དམ་པའི་ཆོས།།
དཀོན་མཆོག་དྲི་མ་མེད་དང་སངས་རྒྱས་སྲས།།
ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་རྣམས་ལ་ལེགས་པར་མཆོད།།
In order to have such a precious mind embraced,
To The Suchness Transcenders and the sacred Dharma,
To the stainless Supreme Excellency and the Victor’s children,
And the oceans of qualities, I offer perfectly.
རིན་ཆེན་ precious | སེམས་ mind | དེ་ that/the | གཟུང་བར་བྱ་ should have | བའི་ཕྱིར for the sake of that, །།
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་པ་ Tathagata | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | དང་ and | དམ་པའི་ཆོས sacred dharma, །།
དཀོན་མཆོག་ jewel (rare and supreme) | དྲི་མ་མེད་ stainless | དང་ and | སངས་རྒྱས་སྲས Bodhisattvas, །།
ཡོན་ཏན་ excellent quality | རྒྱ་མཚོ་ ocean [of] | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ལ་ to | ལེགས་པར་ perfectly, excellently | མཆོད offer, །།
མེ་ཏོག་འབྲས་བུ་ཇི་སྙེད་ཡོད་པ་དང་།།
སྨན་གྱི་རྣམ་པ་གང་དག་ཡོད་པ་དང་།།
འཇིག་རྟེན་རིན་ཆེན་ཇི་སྙེད་ཡོད་པ་དང་།།
ཆུ་གཙང་ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བ་ཅི་ཡོད་དང་།།
All kinds of flowers and fruitions there are,
Whatever types of medicine there are,
However many dearest things in the world there are,
Pure water and what other mesmerising phenomena there are,
མེ་ཏོག་ flower | འབྲས་བུ་ fruit | ཇི་སྙེད་ཡོད་པ་ however many there | དང་ and, །།
སྨན་ medicine | གྱི་ of | རྣམ་པ་ form, type, kind | གང་དག་ those which | ཡོད་ there | པ་དང་ those and, །།
འཇིག་རྟེན་ world | རིན་ཆེན་ precious | ཇི་སྙེད་ཡོད་པ་ however many there | དང་ and, །།
ཆུ་ water | གཙང་ clean | ཡིད་དུ་འོང་བ་ attractive, beautiful | ཅི་ཡོད་ whatever there | དང་ and, །།
རིན་ཆེན་རི་བོ་དང་ནི་དེ་བཞིན་དུ།།
ནགས་ཚལ་ས་ཕྱོགས་དབེན་ཞིང་ཉམས་དགའ་དང་།།
ལྗོན་ཤིང་མེ་ཏོག་རྒྱན་སྤྲས་སྤུད་པ་དང་།།
ཤིང་གང་འབྲས་བཟང་ཡལ་ག་དུད་པ་དང་།།
Mountains of jewels and certainly, just so,
Forests and gardens and the sort, while untouched, are so pleasant!
Trees beautified with the ornaments of flowers,
And trees whose branches are laden with splendid fruition,
རིན་ཆེན་ precious | རི་བོ་ mountain | དང་ and | ནི་ (emphasized) | དེ་བཞིན་དུ likewise, །།
ནགས་ཚལ་ forest grove | ས་ཕྱོགས་ place | དབེན་ isolated | ཞིང་ while | ཉམས་དགའ་ pleasant, joyous | དང་ and, besides, །།
ལྗོན་ཤིང་ trees | མེ་ཏོག་ flower | རྒྱན་ ornament | སྤྲས་ adorned | སྤུད་པ་ enhanced, beautified, wonderful, magnificent | དང་ and, །།
ཤིང་གང་ those trees/woods, whichever tree, each tree | འབྲས་ fruit[s] | བཟང་ excellent | ཡལ་ག་ branches | དུད་པ་ bowed/bent down | དང་ and, moreover, as well, །།
ལྷ་སོགས་འཇིག་རྟེན་ན་ཡང་དྲི་དང་ནི།།
སྤོས་དང་དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་དང་རིན་ཆེན་ཤིང་།།
མ་རྨོས་འཁྲུངས་པའི་ལོ་ཏོག་རྣམ་པ་དང་།།
གཞན་ཡང་མཆོད་པར་འོས་པའི་རྒྱན་རྣམས་ནི།།
Fragrances of even the realm of Gods as well as
Incenses and jewel trees and wish-granting trees
All kinds of crops having grown without being plowed,
And likewise, adornments that are offering-worthy.
ལྷ་ gods, སོགས་ and so forth | འཇིག་རྟེན་ world [of] | ན་ཡང་ even there | དྲི་ fragrance | དང་ and | ནི (stressed), །།
སྤོས་ incense | དང་ and | དཔག་བསམ་ཤིང་ wish fulfilling tree | དང་ and | རིན་ཆེན་ཤིང་ jewel trees, precious tree, །།
མ་རྨོས་ unplanted, uncultivated | འཁྲུངས་ [purely] grown | པའི་ of which is/are | ལོ་ཏོག་ crops | རྣམ་པ་ kinds, form | དང་ and, །།
གཞན་ཡང་ moreover, likewise | མཆོད་པ offered | ར་ to be | འོས་པ worthy | འི་ of | རྒྱན་ ornaments | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ནི (emphasized), །།
མཚོ་དང་རྫིང་བུ་པདྨས་བརྒྱན་པ་དག།
ངང་པ་ཤིན་ཏུ་སྐད་སྙན་ཡིད་འོང་ལྡན།།
ནམ་མཁའ་རབ་འབྱམས་ཁམས་ཀྱི་མཐས་གཏུགས་པ།།
ཡོངས་སུ་བཟུང་བ་མེད་པ་དེ་དག་ཀུན།།
Lakes and ponds which are embellished with lotuses,
And endowed with swans whose voice is sweet naturally,
And all those which are completely owner-less,
Reaching all realms and spread over the sky excellently.
མཚོ་ lake | དང་ and | རྫིང་བུ་ pond | པདྨ lotus | ས་ by, with | བརྒྱན་པ་ ornamented | དག those, (plural mark), །
ངང་པ་ swan, duck | ཤིན་ཏུ་ naturally, extremely | སྐད་ voice, sound | སྙན་ pleasant [to hear], sweet | ཡིད་འོང་ beautiful | ལྡན with, །།
ནམ་མཁའ་ sky | རབ་འབྱམས་ fully spread | ཁམས་ realm | ཀྱི་ of | མཐས་ by the end | གཏུགས་པ reaching, །།
ཡོངས་སུ་ fully | བཟུང་བ་མེད་པ་ caught less | དེ་དག་ those | ཀུན all, །།
བློ་ཡིས་བླངས་ནས་ཐུབ་པ་སྐྱེས་ཀྱི་མཆོག།
སྲས་དང་བཅས་པ་རྣམས་ལ་ལེགས་འབུལ་ན།།
ཡོན་ཏན་དམ་པ་ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས།།
བདག་ལ་བརྩེར་དགོངས་བདག་གི་འདི་དག་བཞེས།།
Knowing them, once excellently offered to the supreme form
Of The Capable One along with his heart children,
Please take these [offerings] of mine, [you] the Ones [with] genuine qualities
Who are compassionate and consider me as your beloved.
བློ་ mind | ཡིས་ by | བླངས་ taken | ནས་ from having, by | ཐུབ་པ་ Buddha, the capable ones | སྐྱེས་ born | ཀྱི་ of | མཆོག supreme, །
སྲས་ respected child, Bodhisattvas | དང་བཅས་པ་ along with, together with | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ལ་ to, ལེགས་ excellent, excellently | འབུལ་ offering | ན when/since, །།
ཡོན་ཏན་ excellent quality | དམ་པ་ sacred, genuine | ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་ great compassionate one | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀྱིས by, །།
བདག་ལ་ to me | བརྩེར་ as loved one | དགོངས་ consider[ed] | བདག་གི་ my | འདི་དག་ these | བཞེས please have!, །།
བདག་ནི་བསོད་ནམས་མི་ལྡན་བཀྲེན་ཆེན་ཏེ།།
མཆོད་པའི་ནོར་གཞན་བདག་ལ་ཅང་མ་མཆིས།།
དེས་ན་གཞན་དོན་དགོངས་པའི་མགོན་གྱིས་འདི།།
བདག་གི་དོན་སླད་ཉིད་ཀྱི་མཐུས་བཞེས་ཤིག།
I, indeed, am greatly poor, not blessed with merits,
And in me, there is not at all any other wealth [to give].
Thus, the Lord who thinks purely of the benefits of others,
For my sake, please take me with your own [compassionate] power!
བདག་ I, me | ནི་ as for, (emphasized) | བསོད་ནམས་ merit[s] | མི་ལྡན་ without, have no, don’t have | བཀྲེན་ poor | ཆེན་ greatly | ཏེ so, །།
མཆོད་པ offering | འི་ of, related to, related | ནོར་ wealth | གཞན་ other | བདག་ལ་ to/with me | ཅང་ anything | མ་མཆིས not there, didn’t have, །།
དེས་ན་ therefore | གཞན་དོན་ other benefit/favor/welfare | དགོངས་པའི་ one who consider/favor/ | མགོན་ lord, གྱིས་ by | འདི this, །།
བདག་གི་དོན་ my benefit/favor | སླད་ for, for the sake of | ཉིད་ཀྱི་ your own | མཐུ power | ས་ by | བཞེས་ please have | ཤིག !, (imperative mark) །
རྒྱལ་དང་དེ་སྲས་རྣམས་ལ་བདག་གིས་ནི།།
བདག་གི་ལུས་ཀུན་གཏན་དུ་དབུལ་བར་བགྱི།།
སེམས་དཔའ་མཆོག་རྣམས་བདག་ནི་ཡོངས་བཞེས་ཤིག།
གུས་པས་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་འབངས་སུ་མཆི་བར་བགྱི།།
To the Victor and his children, I, indeed
Will be offering my whole body eternally.
The supreme heroes, please take me fully.
With respect, going as your subject, I will be.
རྒྱལ་ victorious one, Buddha | དང་ and | དེ་སྲས་ their respected child, (Bodhisattvas) | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ལ་ to | བདག་གིས་ by me, I | ནི (stressed), །།
བདག་གི་ my | ལུས་ body | ཀུན་ whole, all | གཏན་དུ་ for always | དབུལ་ offer | བར་བགྱི will (helping verb for future tense), །།
སེམས་དཔའ་ Bodhisattvas | མཆོག་ supreme, supreme one [the Buddha] | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | བདག་ནི་ I / me (emphasized) | ཡོངས་ fully | བཞེས་ please have | ཤིག !, (imperative mark) །
གུས་པ me, the humble one, respect | ས་ by, with | ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ your | འབངས་ subject | སུ་ as | མཆི་ go | བར་བགྱི will (helping verb for future tense), །།
བདག་ནི་ཁྱེད་ཀྱིས་ཡོངས་སུ་བཟུང་བས་ན།།
སྲིད་ན་མི་འཇིགས་སེམས་ཅན་ཕན་པར་བགྱི།།
སྔོན་གྱི་སྡིག་ལས་ཡང་དག་འདའ་བགྱིད་ཅིང་།།
སྡིག་པ་གཞན་ཡང་སླན་ཆད་མི་བགྱིད་དོ།།
Once having been wholly taken by You,
In this chancy world, fearlessly, I will be aiding others,
While perfectly transcending all faults of the past,
No other faults will ever be committed in the future!
བདག་ནི་ as for me, I /me (emphasized) | ཁྱེད་ you | ཀྱིས་ by | ཡོངས་སུ་ fully, totally | བཟུང་བ taken | ས་ since, because | ན for, when, །།
སྲིད་ existence, world | ན་ if/when, in | མི་འཇིགས་ will not fear | སེམས་ཅན་ sentient beings | ཕན་ benefit | པར་བགྱི will (helping verb for future tense), །།
སྔོན་ before | གྱི་ of, related | སྡིག་ sins | ལས་ from | ཡང་དག་ genuinely | འདའ་ go[ing] away, pass[ing] | བགྱིད་ doing | ཅིང་ while, །།
སྡིག་པ་ sins | གཞན་ other | ཡང་ also, as well | སླན་ཆད་ in future, afterwards | མི་བགྱིད་ not doing | དོ (finishing term), །།
ཁྲུས་ཀྱི་ཁང་པ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དྲི་ཞིམ་པ།།
ཤེལ་གྱི་ས་གཞི་གསལ་ཞིང་འཚེར་བ་བལྟར།།
རིན་ཆེན་འབར་བའི་ཀ་བ་ཡིད་འོང་ལྡན།།
མུ་ཏིག་འོད་ཆགས་བླ་རེ་བྲེས་པ་དེར།།
Bath chamber which smells naturally pleasant,
With crystal glass floor, clear, shining and polished,
[And] pillars, charmingly enriched with glowing jewelries,
[And] sparkling pearls spreaded over the canopies
ཁྲུས་ཀྱི་ཁང་པ་ shower house | ཤིན་ཏུ་ naturally, extremely | དྲི་ཞིམ་ sweet smell | པ that which is, །།
ཤེལ་ glass | གྱི་ of | ས་གཞི་ ground | གསལ་ clear | ཞིང་ while | འཚེར་བ་ shining | བལྟར polished, prepared, །།
རིན་ཆེན་ jewel | འབར་བ blazing | འི་ of | ཀ་བ་ pillar | ཡིད་འོང་ beautiful, fascinating | ལྡན with, །།
མུ་ཏིག་ pearl | འོད་ཆགས་ glowing | བླ་རེ་ canopy | བྲེས་པ་ display, put between | དེར there, །།
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་དང་དེ་ཡི་སྲས་རྣམས་ལ།།
རིན་ཆེན་བུམ་པ་མང་པོ་སྤོས་ཀྱི་ཆུ།།
ཡིད་འོང་ལེགས་པར་བཀང་བ་གླུ་དང་ནི།།
རོལ་མོར་བཅས་པ་དུ་མས་སྐུ་ཁྲུས་གསོལ།།
There, to the Transcender and his heart children,
Many precious vases greatly filled with fascinating
Scented water, along with plenty of songs and indeed, music
Are offered to have their pure forms showered.
དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས་ Tathagata | དང་ and | དེ་ཡི་སྲས་ Bodhisattvas | རྣམས་ (plural mark), ལ to, །།
རིན་ཆེན་jewel, precious | བུམ་པ་ vase | མང་པོ་ many | སྤོས་ incense | ཀྱི་ of | ཆུ water, །།
ཡིད་འོང་ beautiful | ལེགས་པར་ excellently | བཀང་ filled | བ་ that which is | གླུ་ songs | དང་ and | ནི (emphasized), །།
རོལ་མོ music | ར་བཅས་པ་ together/along with | དུ་མ many | ས་ by | སྐུ་ཁྲུས་ bath | གསོལ offer[ed], །།
དེ་དག་སྐུ་ལ་མཚུངས་པ་མེད་པའི་གོས།།
གཙང་ལ་དྲི་རབ་བསྒོས་པས་སྐུ་ཕྱི་འོ།།
དེ་ནས་དེ་ལ་ཁ་དོག་ལེགས་བསྒྱུར་བའི།།
ན་བཟའ་ཤིན་ཏུ་དྲི་ཞིམ་དམ་པ་འབུལ།།
[Put to] dry those pure forms are clothing
Which are clean and infused with the best scent.
Then, to such, garments transformed [with] exquisite colors,
Bearing a naturally sweet smell, I genuinely offer.
དེ་དག་ those | སྐུ་ལ་ to the pure bodies | མཚུངས་པ་མེད་པ unmatchable | འི་ of | གོས cloth, །།
གཙང་ clean | ལ་ and | དྲི་ fragrance | རབ་ excellent | བསྒོས་ coated, have | པས་ by/with that | སྐུ་ the pure bodies | ཕྱི་ wiped, cleaned | འོ (finishing term), །།
དེ་ནས་ and then, after that | དེ་ལ་ to those [pure bodies] | ཁ་དོག་ color | ལེགས་ excellent, excellently | བསྒྱུར་བ made | (coloured) | འི of, །།
ན་བཟའ་ clothes (honorific) | ཤིན་ཏུ་ naturally, extremely | དྲི་ fragrance, smell | ཞིམ་ weet | དམ་པ་ genuine | འབུལ offer, །།
གོས་བཟང་སྲབ་ལ་འཇམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་དང་།།
རྒྱན་མཆོག་བརྒྱ་ཕྲག་དེ་དང་དེ་དག་གིས།།
འཕགས་པ་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་དང་འཇམ་དབྱངས་དང་།།
འཇིག་རྟེན་དབང་ཕྱུག་སོགས་ལའང་བརྒྱན་པར་བགྱི།།
With clothes of many types, supreme, fine and soft,
And that and those hundreds of greatest ornaments,
I will adorn The Noble Ones such as
Samantabhadra, Manjushri and Avalokitesvara.
གོས་བཟང་ excellent clothes | སྲབ་ silky | ལ་ and | འཇམ་པ་ soft | སྣ་ཚོགས་ various | དང་ and །།
རྒྱན་ ornaments | མཆོག་ supreme | བརྒྱ་ཕྲག་ hundreds [of], (many) | དེ་དང་དེ་དག་ that and those | གིས by, །།
འཕགས་པ་ the noble ones | ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་ Samantabadra | དང་ and | འཇམ་དབྱངས་ Manjushri | དང་ and, །།
འཇིག་རྟེན་དབང་ཕྱུག་ Avalokiteshvara | སོགས་ and so forth | ལ to | འང་ also | བརྒྱན་པར་བགྱི [I] shall adorn, །།
སྟོང་གསུམ་ཀུན་ཏུ་དྲི་ངད་ལྡང་བ་ཡི།།
དྲི་མཆོག་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཐུབ་དབང་ཀུན་གྱི་སྐུ།།
གསེར་སྦྱངས་བཙོ་མ་བྱི་དོར་བྱས་པ་ལྟར།།
འོད་ཆགས་འབར་བ་དེ་དག་བྱུགས་པར་བགྱི།།
I shall smear the most splendid smell which rises up
The fragrances in all the three empty worlds
[To] those pure forms which blaze with light
Just like [how] gold is cleansed, polished and refined.
སྟོང་གསུམ་ three thousand [fold universe], three [world of] empty | ཀུན་ཏུ་ fully | དྲི་ངད་ fragrance | ལྡང་ rise | བ་ཡི of such which, །།
དྲི་མཆོག་ supreme fragrance | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀྱིས་ by, with | ཐུབ་དབང་ lord of subdue | ཀུན་ all | གྱི་ of | སྐུ pure bodies/forms, །།
གསེར་ gold | སྦྱངས་ refined | བཙོ་མ་ purified | བྱི་དོར་ polishing, cleansing | བྱས་ done | པ་ལྟར like that/such, །།
འོད་ཆགས་འབར་བ་ blazing with light | དེ་དག་ those [pure forms which] | བྱུགས་པར་བགྱི [i] shall apply/shine/smear, །།
ཐུབ་དབང་མཆོད་གནས་མཆོག་ལ་ཡིད་འོང་བའི།།
མེ་ཏོག་མནྡ་ར་དང་པདྨ་དང་།།
ཨུཏྤལ་ལ་སོགས་དྲི་ཞིམ་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་།།
ཕྲེང་བ་སྤེལ་ལེགས་ཡིད་འོང་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་མཆོད།།
To The Capable One, the principle refuge,
I offer enchanting flowers such as
Lily, jasmine, lotus and all the sweet fragrances
And the well-arranged beautiful garlands.
ཐུབ་དབང་ Buddha | མཆོད་གནས་ place of offering | མཆོག་ supreme | ལ་ to | ཡིད་འོང་ fascinating, beautiful | བའི of such, །།
མེ་ཏོག་ flower | མནྡ་ར་ mandara (lily) | དང་ and | པདྨ་ padma (lotus) | དང་ and།།
ཨུཏྤལ་ utpala (jasmine) | ལ་སོགས་ and so forth | དྲི་ smell, fragrance | ཞིམ་ sweet | ཐམས་ཅད་ all | དང་ and, །།
ཕྲེང་བ་ garland | སྤེལ་ arranged, arrayed, organized | ལེགས་ well | ཡིད་འོང་ beautiful, fascinating | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀྱིས་ by, with | མཆོད offer, །།
སྤོས་མཆོག་ཡིད་འཕྲོག་དྲི་ངད་ཁྱབ་པ་ཡི།།
བདུག་པའི་སྤྲིན་ཚོགས་རྣམས་ཀྱང་དེ་ལ་དབུལ།།
ཞལ་ཟས་བཟའ་བཏུང་སྣ་ཚོགས་བཅས་པ་ཡི།།
ལྷ་བཤོས་རྣམས་ཀྱང་དེ་ལ་དབུལ་བར་བགྱི།།
I shall offer to them the mind-stealing supreme incenses,
The assembly of freshening clouds which spread the fragrances.
To them, I will too, offer meals of divine food,
Prepared with many kinds of eatables and beverages.
སྤོས་ incense | མཆོག་ supreme | ཡིད་འཕྲོག་ mind stealing, fascinating | དྲི་ངད་ fragrance | ཁྱབ་ spread | པ་ཡི of such, །།
བདུག་པ to fragrant, fumigate, freshening | འི་ of | སྤྲིན་ cloud | ཚོགས་ (plural mark) | རྣམས་ (plural mark), ཀྱང་ also | དེ་ལ་ to them | དབུལ shall offer, །།
ཞལ་ཟས་ meal (honorific) | བཟའ་ eatables | བཏུང་ drinks | སྣ་ཚོགས་ various many | བཅས་པ་ prepared, included, along with | ཡི of, །།
ལྷ་བཤོས་ divine food | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀྱང་ also | དེ་ལ་ to them | དབུལ་བར་བགྱི [I] shall offer, །།
གསེར་གྱི་པདྨ་ཚར་དུ་དངར་བ་ཡི།།
རིན་ཆེན་སྒྲོན་མེ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་དབུལ་བར་བགྱི།།
ས་གཞི་བསྟར་བ་སྤོས་ཀྱིས་བྱུགས་པ་དེར།།
མེ་ཏོག་ཡིད་འོང་སིལ་མ་དགྲམ་པར་བགྱི།།
I shall also offer the precious lights
Which are well arranged [in] the golden lotuses.
There, in the elegant ground smeared with incenses
I will spread the petals of the delightful flowers.
གསེར་ gold | གྱི་ [made] of | པདྨ་ lotus | ཚར་དུ་དངར་བ་ well arranged/designed | ཡི of, །།
རིན་ཆེན་ precious, jewel | སྒྲོན་མེ་ light, lamp | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀྱང་ also | དབུལ་བར་བགྱི [is what] I shall offer, །།
ས་གཞི་ base, ground | བསྟར་བ་ polished, cleansed, elegant | སྤོས་ incense | ཀྱིས་ with, by | བྱུགས་པ་ smeared, sprayed | དེར there, །།
མེ་ཏོག་ flower | ཡིད་འོང་ beautiful, fascinating | སིལ་མ་ pieces, petal | དགྲམ་པར་བགྱི [is what] I shall spread, །།
གཞལ་མེད་ཕོ་བྲང་བསྟོད་དབྱངས་ཡིད་འོང་ལྡན།།
མུ་ཏིག་རིན་ཆེན་རྒྱན་འཕྱང་མཛེས་འབར་བ།།
དཔག་ཡས་ནམ་མཁའི་རྒྱན་གྱུར་དེ་དག་ཀྱང་།།
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་རང་བཞིན་ཅན་ལ་དབུལ་བར་བགྱི།།
Heavenly palace filled with enchanting songs of praises
And blazed charmingly with hanging ornaments of precious pearls,
As well as those which have become the adornments of the boundless time and space,
Shall be offered to The Ones whose nature is purely compassionate.

དཔག་ཡས་ unfathomable | ནམ་མཁའི་རྒྱན་ ornament of the sky (space-time) | གྱུར་ became, to be | དེ་དག་ those | ཀྱང་ also, །།
ཐུགས་རྗེ pure compassion | འི་ of | རང་བཞིན་ nature | ཅན་ one who has | ལ་ to | དབུལ་བར་བགྱི [is what] I shall offer, །།
རིན་ཆེན་གདུགས་མཛེས་གསེར་གྱི་ཡུ་བ་ཅན།།
ཁོར་ཡུག་རྒྱན་གྱི་རྣམ་པ་ཡིད་འོང་བརྒྱན།།
དབྱིབས་ལེགས་བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་པ་བསྒྲེང་བ་ཡང་།།
རྟག་ཏུ་ཐུབ་དབང་རྣམས་ལ་དབུལ་བར་བགྱི།།
A precious, beautiful umbrella with gold handle of which
Panel is graciously adorned with many kinds of ornaments,
Holding up an excellent, fascinating shape too,
Forever, shall be offered to The Ones Who Are Capable.

དབྱིབས་ shape | ལེགས་ well, excellent | བལྟ་ན་སྡུག་པ་ fascinating, beautiful | བསྒྲེང་བ་ to hold up, to be raised | ཡང་ also, །།
རྟག་ཏུ་ for always | ཐུབ་དབང་ Buddha | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ལ་ to | དབུལ་བར་བགྱི [is what] I shall offer, །།
དེ་ལས་གཞན་ཡང་མཆོད་པའི་ཚོགས།།
རོལ་མོའི་དབྱངས་སྙན་ཡིད་འོང་ལྡན།།
སེམས་ཅན་སྡུག་བསྔལ་སིམ་བྱེད་པའི།།
སྤྲིན་རྣམས་སོ་སོར་གནས་གྱུར་ཅིག།
Other than those are also mass of offerings
Which are blessed with sweet and lovely music melodies.
May [those clouds] which appease the pains of
All sentient beings abide independently.

སེམས་ཅན་ sentient being | སྡུག་བསྔལ་ suffering | སིམ་བྱེད་པ calming | འི of, །།
སྤྲིན་ cloud | རྣམས་ s(plural mark) | སོ་སོར་ in themselves, individually | གནས་ abide/stay | གྱུར་ཅིག may!, །
དམ་ཆོས་དཀོན་མཆོག་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་།།
མཆོད་རྟེན་རྣམས་དང་སྐུ་གཟུགས་ལ།།
རིན་ཆེན་མེ་ཏོག་ལ་སོགས་ཆར།།
རྒྱུན་མི་འཆད་པར་དབབ་པར་ཤོག།
Onto all the rare, supreme and sacred Teachings,
And the places of worships and the images of pure forms,
May rain of precious flowers and many others,
Fall down uninterruptedly!

རྒྱུན་མི་འཆད་པར་ uninterruptedly | དབབ་ fall | པར་ཤོག may!, །
ཇི་ལྟར་འཇམ་དབྱངས་ལ་སོགས་པས།།
རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་མཆོད་མཛད་པ།།
དེ་བཞིན་བདག་གིས་དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས།།
མགོན་པོ་སྲས་དང་བཅས་རྣམས་མཆོད།།
As how Manjushri and so forth
Purely offer to the Victors,
In sameness, to the Transcender and The Protectors
Along with The Bodhisattvas, I shall offer.
ཇི་ལྟར་ like how | འཇམ་དབྱངས་ Manjushri | ལ་སོགས་པ and so forth | ས by, with།།
རྒྱལ་བ་རྣམས་ལ་ to the Buddhas | མཆོད་མཛད་པ doing offer, །།
དེ་བཞིན་ likewise | བདག་གིས་ by me | དེ་བཞིན་གཤེགས Tathagatas, །།
མགོན་པོ་ Protectors | སྲས་ Bodhisattvas | དང་བཅས་ along with | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | མཆོད offer, །།
ཡོན་ཏན་རྒྱ་མཚོ་རྣམས་ལ་བདག།
བསྟོད་དབྱངས་ཡན་ལག་རྒྱ་མཚོས་བསྟོད།།
བསྟོད་དབྱངས་སྙན་སྤྲིན་དེ་དག་ལ།།
ངེས་པར་ཀུན་ཏུ་འབྱུང་གྱུར་ཅིག།
At the seas of independent qualities,
I applaud with oceans of praising melodies.
May the clouds of [such] sweet rhythms
Truly arise for eternity!

དུས་གསུམ་གཤེགས་པའི་སངས་རྒྱས་ཀུན།།
ཆོས་དང་ཚོགས་ཀྱི་མཆོག་བཅས་ལ།།
ཞིང་རྡུལ་ཀུན་གྱི་གྲངས་སྙེད་ཀྱི།།
ལུས་བཏུད་པས་ནི་བདག་ཕྱག་འཚལ།།
Towards The Awakened Ones who have transcended all three times,
Along with the Truth and the supreme assemblies,
As many as the number of atoms in the land of pureness,
I prostrate, bowing down my whole body.

ལུས་ body | བཏུད་ bowed down | པས་ in that way | ནི་ (emphasized) | བདག་ I | ཕྱག་འཚལ do the prostration, །།
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ཀྱི་གཞི་རྣམས་དང་།།
མཆོད་རྟེན་རྣམས་ལ་བདག་ཕྱག་འཚལ།།
མཁན་པོ་དེ་བཞིན་སློབ་དཔོན་དང་།།
བརྟུལ་ཞུགས་མཆོག་ལ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ལོ།།
Towards the grounds of the Enlightening mind,
And the many fields of worship, I abase.
To the scholars along with the masters,
And the supreme practitioners, I prostrate.

བྱང་ཆུབ་སྙིང་པོར་མཆིས་ཀྱི་བར།།
སངས་རྒྱས་རྣམས་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི།།
ཆོས་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའ་ཡི།།
ཚོགས་ལའང་དེ་བཞིན་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི།།
Until the essence of perfection is reached,
Seeking shelter in Buddhas, I will be
In the same way, I will go for refuge
In the Truth as well as The Heroes’ Assembly.
བྱང་ཆུབ་ Buddhahood, perfection, - སྙིང་པོར་ in the essence, - མཆིས་ integrated, combined | ཀྱི་བར till there, །།

ཕྱོགས་རྣམས་ཀུན་ན་བཞུགས་པ་ཡི།།
རྫོགས་སངས་རྒྱས་དང་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས།།
ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེན་པོ་མངའ་རྣམས་ལ།།
ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་ཏེ་གསོལ་བ་ནི།།
Towards The Perfect Buddhas and the Bodhisattvas,
And those who own the great pure compassion
Dwelling in all the directions, indeed
[I] join palms together and beseech.

ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་ palms joined | ཏེ་ while, and | གསོལ་བ་ supplicated, prayed | ནི (stressed), །།
ཐོག་མ་མེད་ལྡན་འཁོར་བ་ནས།།
ཚེ་རབས་འདི་འམ་གཞན་དག་ཏུ།།
བདག་གིས་མ་འཚལ་སྡིག་བགྱིས་པའམ།།
བགྱིད་དུ་སྩལ་བ་ཉིད་དང་ནི།།
From the cyclic existence with no beginning,
In the time of this life or in the others,
Not knowing, the sins I have created,
Or those I have made others do indeed.
ཐོག་མ་ beginning | མེད་ not there | ལྡན་ which has/have | འཁོར་བ་ samsara, cyclic existence | ནས from, །།
ཚེ་རབས་ lifetime | འདི་ this | འམ་ or | གཞན་དག་ others | ཏུ in, །།

བགྱིད་དུ་སྩལ་བ་ given/made to do | ཉིད་ [those] very, (stressed) | དང་ and | ནི (stressed), །།
གཏི་མུག་འཁྲུལ་པས་བདག་ནོན་ཏེ།།
རྗེས་སུ་ཡིད་རང་གང་བགྱིས་པ།།
ནོངས་པ་དེ་ནི་མཐོང་བགྱིས་ནས།།
བསམ་པ་ཐག་པས་མགོན་ལ་བཤགས།།
Confused by stupidity, I have [become] burdened
To then rejoice in whatever that has been done.
From having realised those very missteps,
To The Ones Who Protect, with pure thoughts, I confess.

རྗེས་སུ་ཡིད་རང་ rejoiced | གང་ whatsoever | བགྱིས་པ [that is] done, །།
ནོངས་པ་ mistake | དེ་ that | ནི་ (emphasized) | མཐོང་ see[n], understood | བགྱིས་ done, had | ནས from [having], after that, །།
བསམ་པ་ཐག་པ pure thought/motivation, sincere | ས་ by, with, (adverbial) | མགོན་ protector | ལ་ to | བཤགས confessed, །།
བདག་གིས་དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་དང་ནི།།
ཕ་མའམ་བླ་མ་གཞན་དག་ལ།།
ཉོན་མོངས་སྒོ་ནས་ལུས་ངག་དང་།།
ཡིད་ཀྱིས་གནོད་བགྱིས་གང་ལགས་པ།།
To mothers, fathers, masters and others,
And indeed, The Three Rare, Supreme, Absolute Excellency,
Through body, speech and mind, from the base of affliction,
Whatever damage that I thus have done.
བདག་ me | གིས་ by | དཀོན་མཆོག་གསུམ་ three jewels | དང་ and | ནི (emphasized), །།
ཕ་མ parents | འམ་ or | བླ་མ་ spiritual master | གཞན་དག་ others | ལ to, །།

ཡིད་ mind | ཀྱིས་ by, with, through | གནོད་ harming | བགྱིས་ done | གང་ལགས་པ whatever it is, །།
ཉེས་པ་དུ་མས་སྐྱོན་ཆགས་པའི།།
སྡིག་ཅན་བདག་གི་སྡིག་པ་གང་།།
ཤིན་ཏུ་མི་བཟད་བགྱིས་པ་དེ།།
ཐམས་ཅད་འདྲེན་པ་རྣམས་ལ་བཤགས།།
With many wrongdoings, this sinful one has become [at] fault.
For whatever misdeeds of mine that have been made
Which are simply insufferable
In front of The Leaders, I confess to you all!
ཉེས་པ་ offence, fault | དུ་མ many | ས་ by | སྐྱོན་ fault, defect, wrong | ཆགས་ became | པའི of which, །།
སྡིག་ཅན་ sinful one | བདག་གི་ my | སྡིག་པ་ evil deed | གང་ which [is], །།
ཤིན་ཏུ་ extremely | མི་བཟད་ unbearable | བགྱིས་པ་ have done | དེ those, །།
ཐམས་ཅད་ all, every | འདྲེན་པ་ lord | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ལ་ to, in front of | བཤགས confessed, །།
བདག་ནི་སྡིག་པ་མ་བྱང་བར།།
སྔོན་དུ་འགུམ་པར་འགྱུར་དུ་མཆི།།
ཇི་ལྟར་འདི་ལས་ངེས་ཐར་བར།།
མྱུར་བའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་བསྐྱབ་ཏུ་གསོལ།།
As for me, I will be frightfully dying,
Before my wrongs could be made right,
Henceforth, from this, to be assuredly freed,
I beg to be safeguarded swiftly.
བདག་ནི་ as for me, I (stressed) | སྡིག་པ་ sin | མ་བྱང་བར without being purified, །།
སྔོན་དུ་ before there | འགུམ་པར་འགྱུར་ will die | དུ་མཆི going to, may be, might, །།
ཇི་ལྟར་ as/like how, how | འདི་ལས་ from this | ངེས་ surely | ཐར་ liberated | བར till there, །།
མྱུར་བའི་ཚུལ་གྱིས་ in/through swift way | བསྐྱབ་ protect, save | ཏུ་ to | གསོལ [i] supplicate/pray, །།
ཡིད་བརྟན་མི་རུང་འཆི་བདག་འདི།།
བྱས་དང་མ་བྱས་མི་སྡོད་པས།།
ན་དང་མི་ན་ཀུན་གྱིས་ཀྱང་།།
གློ་བུར་ཚེ་ལ་ཡིད་མི་བརྟན།།
To rely on this Master of Death is foolish
For it will not wait no matter if affairs are unfinished or in order.
Therefore, by all, whether in good health or illness,
To this fugitive life, trust is not to be rendered.
ཡིད་ mind | བརྟན་ trusted, stay stable, confident | མི་རུང་ not suitable | འཆི་བདག་ lord of death | འདི this/the (stressed), །།
བྱས་ done| དང་ and | མ་བྱས་ not done | མི་སྡོད་ not staying, (not waiting) | པས that’s why, །།
ན་ sick | དང་ and | མི་ not | ན་ sick | ཀུན་གྱིས་ཀྱང་ by whoever [in whatever state], །།
གློ་བུར་ instant | ཚེ་ lifespan | ལ་ towards, at, on | ཡིད་མི་བརྟན should not trust, not trusted, །།
ཐམས་ཅད་བོར་ཏེ་ཆ་དགོས་པར།།
བདག་གིས་དེ་ལྟར་མ་ཤེས་པས།།
མཛའ་དང་མི་མཛའི་དོན་གྱི་ཕྱིར།།
སྡིག་པ་རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་བྱས།།
Not having known such to be the case,
That I would have to leave all and go with Death,
Thus, for the sake of likes and dislikes,
Misdeeds have been done in numerous kinds.
ཐམས་ཅད་ all, everything | བོར་ left [behind] | ཏེ་ and | ཆ་ go together | དགོས་པར for I/one need to, །།
བདག་གིས་་I (stressed), by me | དེ་ལྟར་ like that/such way | མ་ཤེས་པ without known | ས by, །།
མཛའ་ love, loved one | དང་ and | མི་མཛའི་ not loved related | དོན་ purpose | གྱི་ཕྱིར for, །།
སྡིག་པ་ evil deed | རྣམ་པ་སྣ་ཚོགས་ various kind | བྱས done, །།
མི་མཛའ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་མེད་འགྱུར་ཞིང་།།
མཛའ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་མེད་པར་འགྱུར།།
བདག་ཀྱང་མེད་པར་འགྱུར་བ་སྟེ།།
དེ་བཞིན་ཐམས་ཅད་མེད་པར་འགྱུར།།
The unfavored will not be there,
The favored, too, will be nowhere,
Nor will I be anywhere around,
In that way, all will not be there.
མི་མཛའ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ also the not loved ones | མེད་འགྱུར་ become not there | ཞིང་ while, །།
མཛའ་བ་རྣམས་ཀྱང་ also the loved ones | མེད་པར་འགྱུར will become not there, །།
བདག་ཀྱང་ I also | མེད་པར་འགྱུར་ will become not there | བ་སྟེ and so, །།
དེ་བཞིན་ in such way | ཐམས་ཅད་ all, everyone, everything | མེད་པར་འགྱུར will become not there, །
རྨི་ལམ་ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བ་བཞིན།།
དངོས་པོ་གང་དང་གང་སྤྱད་པ།།
དེ་དེ་དྲན་པའི་ཡུལ་དུ་འགྱུར།།
འདས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཐོང་མི་འགྱུར།།
Just like having had experienced a dream,
After which, whatever things that were enjoyed,
Such and such will turn into objects of memory,
The entire past will no longer be perceived.
རྨི་ལམ་ dream | ཉམས་སུ་མྱོང་བ་ experiencing | བཞིན just as, །།
དངོས་པོ་ things | གང་དང་གང་ whatever | སྤྱད་པ [that is] used, །།
དེ་དེ་ that and that | དྲན་པ memory | འི་ of | ཡུལ་ object | དུ་ as | འགྱུར become, will become, །།
འདས་པ་ what is past | ཐམས་ཅད་ all, everything | མཐོང་མི་འགྱུར would not see, will become not seeing, །།
རེ་ཞིག་གསོན་ཚེ་འདི་ཉིད་ལའང་།།
མཛའ་དང་མི་མཛའ་དུ་མ་འདས།།
དེ་དག་དོན་དུ་བྱས་པའི་སྡིག།
མི་བཟད་གང་ཡིན་མདུན་ན་གནས།།
As for now, in this very lifetime,
Many of those, hated and loved both, have already passed,
But for their sakes, whatever misdeeds that have made,
Are unbearably waiting in front.
རེ་ཞིག་ for instance, as for now | གསོན་ཚེ་ living time | འདི་ཉིད་ this very | ལ at | འང་ also, even, །།
མཛའ་དང་མི་མཛའ་ loved ones and not loved ones | དུ་མ་ many [of them] | འདས passed, died, །།
དེ་དག་ them, those | དོན་དུ་ for the sake [of] | བྱས་པའི་སྡིག sins that is done, །
མི་བཟད་ unbearable | གང་ཡིན་ whatever it is/ they are | མདུན་ན་ ahead, in front | གནས remain[ed], abide, there is, །།
དེ་ལྟར་བདག་ནི་གློ་བུར་ཞེས།།
བདག་གིས་རྟོགས་པར་མ་གྱུར་པས།།
གཏི་མུག་ཆགས་དང་ཞེ་སྡང་གིས།།
སྡིག་པ་རྣམས་པ་དུ་མ་བྱས།།
In that way, because I did not fathom
That “I, indeed, am temporary”,
Through ignorance, attachments and aversions,
Missteps in many kinds were done.
དེ་ལྟར་ in that way, thus | བདག་ནི་ I, me (stressed) | གློ་བུར་ [am] temporal | ཞེས saying so, as such, །།
བདག་གིས་ by me, I (stressed) | རྟོགས་པར་མ་གྱུར་པ have not become realized/recognized/understood | ས because, since, therefore, །།
གཏི་མུག་ stupidity | ཆགས་ attachment | དང་ and | ཞེ་སྡང་ aversion | གིས by, with, །།
སྡིག་པ་ sin, evil deed | རྣམ་པ་ kinds, forms | དུ་མ་ many | བྱས done, །།
ཉིན་མཚན་སྡོད་པ་ཡོད་མེད་པར།།
ཚེ་འདི་རྟག་ཏུ་གོད་འགྱུར་ཞིང་།།
སྣོན་པ་གུད་ནས་འོང་མེད་ན།།
བདག་ལྟ་འཆི་བར་ཅིས་མི་འགྱུར།།
Days and nights are not there waiting,
This lifetime will always run out
And if there is no supplement from aside,
Such as me, how come will not die?!
ཉིན་མཚན་ days and nights | སྡོད་པ་ཡོད་མེད་པར as without being there staying/waiting, །།
ཚེ་འདི་ this life | རྟག་ཏུ་ for always | གོད་ decrease, loss | འགྱུར་ become, becoming | ཞིང་ while so, །།
སྣོན་པ་ addition | གུད་ནས་ from aside | འོང་ coming | མེད་ there is no | ན when, if, །།
བདག་ལྟ་ such as me | འཆི་བར་ to be dying | ཅིས་ why | མི་འགྱུར will not become, །།
བདག་ནི་མལ་ན་འདུག་བཞིན་དུ།།
གཉེན་བཤེས་ཀུན་གྱིས་མཐའ་བསྐོར་ཡང་།།
སྲོག་འཆད་པ་ཡི་ཚོར་བ་དག།
བདག་ཉིད་གཅིག་པུས་མྱོང་བར་འགྱུར།།
While I am actually laying there in bed,
Even if surrounded by all the friends and beloved,
Only I myself will be experiencing
The feeling of lifeforce being depleted.
བདག་ནི་ I (stressed) | མལ་ bed | ན་ in | འདུག་ stay, there | བཞིན་དུ while, །།
གཉེན་ near ones, relatives | བཤེས་ friends | ཀུན་ all, everyone | གྱིས་ by | མཐའ་བསྐོར་ surrounded | ཡང་ even, །།
སྲོག་ life-force | འཆད་པ་ cutting | ཡི་ of | ཚོར་བ་ feeling | དག (plural mark), །
བདག་ཉིད་ I myself | གཅིག་པུ alone | ས་ by | མྱོང་བར་འགྱུར will become experiencing, will experience, །།
གཤིན་རྗེའི་ཕོ་ཉས་ཟིན་པ་ལ།།
གཉེན་གྱིས་ཅི་ཕན་བཤེས་ཅི་ཕན།།
དེ་ཚེ་བསོད་ནམས་གཅིག་སྐྱབས་ན།།
དེ་ཡང་བདག་གིས་མ་བསྟེན་ཏོ།།
To the one caught by the messenger of Death,
What can be done by friends and those who are dear?
At such a time, when merit is the only shelter,
But such, indeed, I have not come near.
གཤིན་རྗེ lord of death | འི་ of | ཕོ་ཉ messenger | ས་ by | ཟིན་པ་ one who is [already] caught | ལ to, for, །།
གཉེན་ relative | གྱིས་ by | ཅི་ what | ཕན་ [will/can] benefit | བཤེས་ friend | ཅི་ what | ཕན་ [will/can] benefit, །།
དེ་ཚེ་ that time | བསོད་ནམས་ merit | གཅིག་ alone, single | སྐྱབས་ [is the] refuge | ན if, when, since, །།
དེ་ཡང་ that also, that indeed | བདག་གིས་ by me, I (stressed) | མ་བསྟེན་ didn’t approach/access/rely | ཏོ (finishing term), །།
མགོན་པོ་བག་མེད་བདག་གིས་ནི།།
འཇིགས་པ་འདི་འདྲ་མ་འཚལ་ནས།།
མི་རྟག་ཚེ་འདིའི་ཆེད་དག་ཏུ།།
སྡིག་པ་མང་པོ་ཉེ་བར་བསྒྲུབས།།
Oh Protector, the careless me indeed,
For not having known it so be so scary,
To serve the aims of this fleeting life,
Many misdeeds have been done fully.
མགོན་པོ་ [Hey] Lord | བག་མེད་ careless/negligent | བདག་གིས་ by me, I (stressed) | ནི of course / indeed, (stressing term), །།
འཇིགས་པ་ fearful | འདི་འདྲ་ like such | མ་འཚལ་ not known | ནས from having, and, །།
མི་རྟག་ impermanent | ཚེ་འདི this life | འི་ཆེད་ purpose of | དག་ (plural mark) | ཏུ for, །།
སྡིག་པ་ evil deed, sin | མང་པོ་ many | ཉེ་བར་ fully, always | བསྒྲུབས accomplished, practiced, cultivated, done, །།
སྐྱེ་བོ་ཡན་ལག་གཅོད་པའི་སར།།
དེ་རིང་འཁྲིད་པའང་བྲེད་འགྱུར་ཏེ།།
ཁ་སྐམ་མིག་རྩ་ངན་ལ་སོགས།།
སྔ་ལས་གཞན་དུ་འགྱུར་སྣང་ན།།
Today, if one is dragged to the place where
Human are executed, he will be so terrified
That his mouth will dry up, eyes, nerves and so on will be ill,
He will appear a different person than before.
སྐྱེ་བོ་ person | ཡན་ལག་ limb | གཅོད་པ cutting | འི་ of | ས place | ར at, །།
དེ་རིང་ today | འཁྲིད་པ to be brought, bringing | འང་ also | བྲེད་ scared | འགྱུར་ become | ཏེ and, so, །།
ཁ་ mouth | སྐམ་ dry | མིག་ eye | རྩ་ nerve | ངན་ [become] bad | ལ་སོགས and so forth, །།
སྔ་ before | ལས་ from, than, compare to | གཞན་དུ་ as/into other/different | འགྱུར་ become | སྣང་ appear[ed] | ན if, when, །།
གཤིན་རྗེའི་ཕོ་ཉ་འཇིགས་འཇིགས་ལྟའི།།
ཤ་ཚུགས་ཅན་གྱིས་བཟུང་གྱུར་ཅིང་།།
འཇིགས་ཆེན་ནད་ཀྱིས་ཐེབས་གྱུར་པ།།
རབ་ཏུ་ཉམ་ཐག་སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས།།
If so, to be captured by such messenger of Death,
Whose physical presence is simply terrifying,
While having been struck by grave illness,
Such a total tragedy, what is the need of mentioning?
གཤིན་རྗེ death lord | འི་ of | ཕོ་ཉ་ messenger | འཇིགས་འཇིགས་ extremely frightening | ལྟ like, such a | འི of, །།
ཤ་ཚུགས་ body shape | ཅན་ having, with | གྱིས་ by | བཟུང་ caught | གྱུར་ became | ཅིང་ while so, །།
འཇིགས་ཆེན་ fearful | ནད་ sickness | ཀྱིས་ by | ཐེབས་ been caught, hit | གྱུར་པ have become, །།
རབ་ཏུ་ fully | ཉམ་ཐག་ miserable | སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས what is the need to mention, །།
སུ་ཞིག་འཇིགས་ཆེན་འདི་ལས་བདག།
ལེགས་པར་སྐྱོབ་པར་བྱེད་འགྱུར་ཞེས།།
བྲེད་ཤ་ཐོན་པའི་མིག་བགྲད་ནས།།
ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་སྐྱབས་དག་ཚོལ་བར་བྱེད།།
“Who will be truly saving me,
From this immense anxiety?”,
Eyes coming out due to fear, widely opened
I search for saviors in four directions.
སུ་ཞིག་ someone who, who else | འཇིགས་ཆེན་འདི་ལས་ from this great fear | བདག I, me, །
ལེགས་པར་ excellently | སྐྱོབ་པར་བྱེད་ saving | འགྱུར་ become, will become/be | ཞེས saying so, །།
བྲེད་ཤ་ཐོན་པ that is coming out with fear | འི་ of | མིག་ eye | བགྲད་ opened wide | ནས from having, །།
ཕྱོགས་ direction, side | བཞི four | ར་ in, at, towards | སྐྱབས་ refuge, savior | དག་ (plural mark), genuine | ཚོལ་བར་བྱེད [become] looking for, །།
ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་སྐྱབས་མེད་མཐོང་ནས་ནི།།
དེ་ནས་ཀུན་ཏུ་ཡིད་མུག་འགྱུར།།
གནས་དེར་སྐྱབས་ཡོད་མ་ཡིན་ན།།
དེ་ཚེ་བདག་གིས་ཇི་ལྟར་བྱ།།
When in all, no refuge is seen, indeed,
I will become utterly desperate then.
In such a place, where there is no rescue,
At such a time, how shall I do?!
ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་ at the four direction | སྐྱབས་ refuge, savior | མེད་ not there, there is no | མཐོང་ seen, seeing | ནས་ from having, by | ནི (stressed), །།
དེ་ནས་ thereafter, and then | ཀུན་ཏུ་ totally | ཡིད་མུག་ despair | འགྱུར [will] become, །།
གནས་ place, situation | དེ that | ར་ at | སྐྱབས་ savior, refuge | ཡོད་ to be there | མ་ཡིན་ it is not | ན if, when, since, །།
དེ་ཚེ་ at that time | བདག་གིས་ I (stressed), by me | ཇི་ལྟར་ like how | བྱ should do, །།
དེ་བས་རྒྱལ་བ་འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན།།
འགྲོ་བ་སྐྱོབ་པའི་དོན་བརྩོན་པ།།
སྟོབས་ཆེན་འཇིགས་པ་ཀུན་སེལ་ལ།།
དེ་རིང་ཉིད་ནས་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི།།
Thus, from this very day on, I will go for refuge
In the Conqueror, the Protector of beings,
The One who exerts for the purpose of having them saved,
The Powerful One who clears out all [their] dismays.
དེ་བས་ therefore | རྒྱལ་བ་ victorious one, Buddha | འགྲོ་བའི་མགོན lord of beings, །།
འགྲོ་བ་ wandering beings | སྐྱོབ་པ saving | འི་དོན་ [for] the sake of | བརྩོན་པ diligent one, །།
སྟོབས་ཆེན་ powerful one | འཇིགས་པ་ fear | ཀུན་ all | སེལ་ [one who] clear out | ལ to, in, །།
དེ་རིང་ today | ཉིད་ very, (stressed) | ནས་ from | སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི [i] go for refuge, །།
དེ་ཡི་ཐུགས་སུ་ཆུད་པའི་ཆོས།།
འཁོར་བའི་འཇིགས་པ་སེལ་བ་དང་།།
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཚོགས་ལ་ཡང་།།
དེ་བཞིན་ཡང་དག་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི།།
Likewise, sincerely, I will take shelter
In the Truth realised in His Pure Mind,
Which clean out the fear of [this] cycle,
And also, in the Bodhisattvas’ council.
དེ་ཡི་ of that/the Buddha | ཐུགས་སུ་ཆུད་ had in the pure mind, realized | པའི་ that is, that | ཆོས Dharma, །།
འཁོར་བ ‘samsara’ | འི་ of | འཇིགས་པ་ fear | སེལ་བ་ clearing out, dispelling | དང་ and, །།
བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་དཔའི་ཚོགས་ assemble of Bodhisattvas | ལ་ to, in | ཡང་ also, །།
དེ་བཞིན་ likewise, in the same way | ཡང་དག་ genuine[ly] | སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི going for refuge, །།
བདག་ནི་འཇིགས་པས་རྣམ་སྐྲག་ནས།།
ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་ལ་བདག་ཉིད་དབུལ།།
འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས་ལའང་བདག་ཉིད་ཀྱིས།།
བདག་གི་ལུས་འདི་དབུལ་བར་བགྱི།།
I, in truth, utterly frightened by fears,
To Samantabadhra, myself, I offer.
And, to Manjushri as well, this body
Of my own too, shall be rendered.
བདག་ནི་ as for me, I/me (stressed) | འཇིགས་པ fear | ས་ by | རྣམ་ fully | སྐྲག་ scared | ནས from [having], །།
ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་ [Bodhisattva] Samantabhadra | ལ་ to | བདག་ཉིད་ I myself, I/me (stressed) | དབུལ shall offer, །།
འཇམ་དཔལ་དབྱངས་ [Bodhisattva] Manjushri | ལ to | འང་ also | བདག་ཉིད་ I myself, I/me (stressed) | ཀྱིས by, །།
བདག་གི་ལུས་ my body | འདི་ this (emphasized) | དབུལ་བར་བགྱི shall offer, །།
ཐུགས་རྗེའི་སྤྱོད་པ་མ་འཁྲུལ་བ།།
སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་མགོན་དེ་ལ་ཡང་།།
ཉམ་ཐག་ང་རོས་འོ་དོད་འབོད།།
སྡིག་ཅན་བདག་ལ་བསྐྱབ་ཏུ་གསོལ།།
Also to The One with uncorrupted conduct
Of pure compassion, The Protector Chenrezig,
Crying out for help in a deep loud voice in misery,
Begging for me, [this] shameful being to be saved please!
ཐུགས་རྗེ pure/perfect compassion | འི་ of | སྤྱོད་པ་ ways, conduct | མ་འཁྲུལ་ unmistaken, undiluted | བ one with, །།
སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་ [Bodhisattva] Avalokitesvara | མགོན་ lord | དེ་ལ་ཡང་ to that/him/her also, །།
ཉམ་ཐག་ miserable | ང་རོ loud and deep voice | ས་ with | འོ་དོད་ for help/perfection | འབོད call[ing], །།
སྡིག་ཅན་ sinful one | བདག་ལ་ me | བསྐྱབ་ to be saved | ཏུ་ as [someone] | གསོལ supplicate, pray, ask, please have, །།
འཕགས་པ་ནམ་མཁའི་སྙིང་པོ་དང་།།
ས་ཡི་སྙིང་པོ་དག་དང་ནི།།
ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་མགོན་ཐམས་ཅད་ལ།།
སྐྱབས་འཚོལ་སྙིང་ནས་འོ་དོད་འབོད།།
To The Noble Akashagarbha and
The Bodhisattva Kshitigarbha both,
And indeed, all the Purely Compassionate Lords,
Looking for refuge, from [my] heart I call!
འཕགས་པ་ noble one | ནམ་མཁའི་སྙིང་པོ་ [Bodhisattva] Akashagarba | དང་ and, །།
ས་ཡི་སྙིང་པོ་ [Bodhisattva] Ksitigarba | དག་ them, (plural mark) | དང་ནི and (stressed), །།
ཐུགས་རྗེ་ཆེ་མགོན་ compassionate lord | ཐམས་ཅད་ all, every | ལ in, །།
སྐྱབས་ refuge | འཚོལ་ looking for, seeking | སྙིང་ heart | ནས་ from | འོ་དོད་ for help/perfection | འབོད call[ing], །།
གང་ཞིག་མཐོང་ན་གཤིན་རྗེ་ཡི།།
ཕོ་ཉ་ལ་སོགས་ལྡང་བ་རྣམས།།
སྐྲག་ནས་ཕྱོགས་བཞིར་འབྱེད་བྱེད་པ།།
རྡོ་རྗེ་ཅན་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི།།
The One who, if seen, will cause those that appear
The Messengers of Death Lord and so on
To flee in into four directions frightened,
To Vajrapani, I go for protection.
གང་ཞིག་ one who | མཐོང་ see, seen | ན་ when, if | གཤིན་རྗེ་ death lord | ཡི of, །།
ཕོ་ཉ་ messenger | ལ་སོགས་ and so forth | ལྡང་བ་ one rising up | རྣམས (plural mark), །།
སྐྲག་ frightened, terrored | ནས་ and then, after that | ཕྱོགས་ direction | བཞི four | ར་ in | འབྱེད་བྱེད་པ flee, run, །།
རྡོ་རྗེ་ཅན་ one with vajra, (Vajrapani) | ལ་ in | སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི go for refuge, །།
སྔོན་ཆད་ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་བཀའ་ལས་འདས།།
ད་ནི་འཇིགས་པ་ཆེར་མཐོང་ནས།།
ཁྱེད་ལ་སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི་ལགས་ཀྱིས།།
འཇིགས་པ་མྱུར་དུ་བསལ་དུ་གསོལ།།
Before, from Your Words, I have strayed,
But now indeed, having seen fears so great,
I pray for [such] fear to be swiftly erased
By [the act of] going for refuge in you.
སྔོན་ཆད་ previously | in the past | ཁྱེད་ཀྱི་ your | བཀའ་ words, teaching | ལས་ from | འདས gone away, །།
ད་ now | ནི་ as for, (stressed) | འཇིགས་པ་ fear | ཆེ great | ར་ as, in | མཐོང་ see[n] | ནས from [having], by, so, །།
ཁྱེད་ you | ལ་ in | སྐྱབས་སུ་མཆི་ go for refuge | ལགས་ am, to be | ཀྱིས so, །།
འཇིགས་པ་ fear | མྱུར་དུ་ swiftly, fast | བསལ་ clear out | དུ་ to | གསོལ pray, request, please, །།
ཐ་མལ་ནད་ཀྱིས་འཇིགས་ན་ཡང་།།
སྨན་པའི་ངག་བཞིན་བྱ་དགོས་ན།།
འདོད་ཆགས་ལ་སོགས་ཉེས་བརྒྱ་ཡི།།
ནད་ཀྱིས་རྟག་བཏབ་སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས།།
If, just worried by ordinary sickness,
As the doctor’s words, I must obey,
[Then], for always, caught by the illness of hundred of faults
[Like] attachment and so on, what is the need to say?!
ཐ་མལ་ ordinary | ནད་ sickness | ཀྱིས་ by | འཇིགས་ scared | ན་ཡང་ even if, །།
སྨན་པ physician, doctor | འི་ of | ངག་ words, prescription | བཞིན་ just as, as | བྱ་ do | དགོས་ need [to] | ན if, when, །།
འདོད་ཆགས་ attachment | ལ་སོགས་ and so forth | ཉེས་ fault | བརྒྱ་ hundred | ཡི of, །།
ནད་ sickness | ཀྱིས་ by | རྟག་ always | བཏབ་ planted, stroke, hit | སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས what is the need of mention, །།
དེ་གཅིག་གིས་ཀྱང་འཛམ་གླིང་ན།།
གནས་པའི་མི་ཀུན་བརླག་བྱེད་ན།།
དེ་དག་གསོ་བའི་སྨན་གཞན་ནི།།
ཕྱོགས་རྣམས་ཀུན་ནས་མི་རྙེད་ན།།
When even only one of such [diseases] can
Wipe out all the human living on this earth,
When indeed, other medicines to heal such
Cannot be found from all the directions,
དེ་ that | གཅིག་ single, one [of] | གིས་ by | ཀྱང་ even | འཛམ་གླིང་ world, earth | ན in, །།
གནས་ abiding | པའི་ who are | མི་ people, person | ཀུན་ all, totally | བརླག་ [to] wipe-out, lost | བྱེད་ cause to, make | ན if, when, །།
དེ་དག་ those | གསོ་ heal | བའི་ that is to | སྨན་ medicine | གཞན་ other | ནི (stressed), །།
ཕྱོགས་ place, direction | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀུན་ all | ནས་ from | མི་རྙེད་ will not find, not finding, cannot find | ན if, when, since, །།
འདི་ལ་སྨན་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན།།
ཟུག་རྔུ་ཐམས་ཅད་འབྱིན་པ་ཡི།།
བཀའ་ལྟར་མི་བྱེད་སེམས་པ་ནི།།
ཤིན་ཏུ་གཏི་མུག་སྨད་པའི་གནས།།
[Then], certainly, the mind that does not do
As the words of The One who expels all pains
The All-Knowing One, The Physician for this,
Is naturally foolish, an object of disdain.
འདི་ this | ལ་ for | སྨན་པ་ physician, doctor | ཐམས་ཅད་མཁྱེན [is the] all knowing [one], Buddha, །།
ཟུག་རྔུ་ pain | ཐམས་ཅད་ all | འབྱིན་ getting rid of, expelling | པ་ཡི of the one who, །།
བཀའ་ words, advice, teaching, prescription | ལྟར་ like, just as | མི་བྱེད་ no doing | སེམས་པ་ mind, such mind | ནི (emphasized), །།
ཤིན་ཏུ་ naturally, extremely | གཏི་མུག་ stupid one | སྨད་པའི་གནས [it is an] object of depreciate/belittle/dispraise, །།
གཡང་ས་ཐ་མལ་ཆུང་ངུ་ལའང་།།
བག་ཡོད་གནས་པར་བྱ་དགོས་ན།།
དཔག་ཚད་སྟོང་དུ་ལྷུང་བ་ཡི།།
ཡུན་རིང་གཡང་སར་སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས།།
If, even next to a small and simple cliff ,
[One] needs to persist [in] caution,
[Then], at a long pit which falls into
Thousands of miles, what is the need to mention?!
གཡང་ས་ precipice | ཐ་མལ་ ordinary, simple | ཆུང་ངུ་ small | ལ at | འང་ even, །།
བག་ཡོད་ careful | གནས་པར་བྱ་ to be abiding | དགོས་ need | ན if, when, །།
དཔག་ཚད་ mile | སྟོང་ thousand | དུ་ in, into | ལྷུང་ falling | བ་ཡི that which is, །།
ཡུན་རིང་གཡང་ས long time precipice | ར་ at, about | སྨོས་ཅི་དགོས what is the need to mention, །།
དེ་རིང་ཁོ་ན་མི་འཆི་ཞེས།།
བདེ་བར་འདུག་པ་རིགས་མ་ཡིན།།
བདག་ནི་མེད་པར་འགྱུར་བའི་དུས།།
དེ་ནི་གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་འགྱུར།།
To think that: “Today only, [I am] not dying”
[And] staying comfortably is unsound.
Such a time when I indeed will
No longer be there is without a doubt.
དེ་རིང་ today | ཁོ་ན་ only | མི་འཆི་ not dying | ཞེས saying, །།
བདེ་བར་ comfortably | འདུག་པ་ staying | རིགས་ suitable | མ་ཡིན it is not, །།
བདག་ནི་ i/me (stressed) | མེད་པར་འགྱུར་ will become not there/die | བའི་ for such/that | དུས time, །།
དེ་ནི་ that (stressed) | གདོན་མི་ཟ་ no doubt | བར་འགྱུར will become, །།
བདག་ལ་མི་འཇིགས་སུ་ཡིས་བྱིན།།
འདི་ལས་ཇི་ལྟར་ངེས་ཐར་འགྱུར།།
གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་མེད་འགྱུར་ན།།
ཅི་ལྟར་བདག་ཡིད་བདེ་བར་འགྱུར།།
Who will give me the fearless state?
How from this, will I be truly freed?
If I will die undoubtedly,
In what way, will my mind be happy?
བདག་ལ་ to me | མི་འཇིགས་ no fear | སུ་ཡིས་ by who | བྱིན given, །།
འདི་ལས་ from this | ཇི་ལྟར་ like how, how | ངེས་ certainly, sure | ཐར་ liberated | འགྱུར will become, become, །།
གདོན་མི་ཟ་བར་ doubtlessly | མེད་ not there, die | འགྱུར་ become | ན if, since, །།
ཅི་ལྟར་ in what way, like what | བདག་ i/me | ཡིད་ mind | བདེ་བར་ to be comfortable | འགྱུར become, །།
སྔོན་ཆད་མྱོང་སྟེ་ཞིག་པ་ལས།།
བདག་ལ་ལྷག་པ་ཅི་ཡོད་ན།།
བདག་ནི་དེ་ལ་མངོན་ཞེན་ནས།།
བླ་མའི་བཀའ་དང་འགལ་བར་བྱས།།
From the past enjoyments which have been shattered,
What is there for me [as] a remainder?
[But] I indeed, having clung onto such,
Went against the words of [my] Master.
སྔོན་ཆད་ previously, in the past | མྱོང་ experienced | སྟེ་ and then | ཞིག་པ་ shattered, collapsed | ལས from, །།
བདག་ལ་ to/with me | ལྷག་པ་ remained, left | ཅི་ཡོད་ what is there | ན for, if, when, །།
བདག་ནི་ me/I (stressed) | དེ་ལ་ towards it/that/such | མངོན་ truly | ཞེན་ attached/clung | ནས by, from [having], by/from such way, །།
བླ་མ master | འི་ of | བཀའ་ words, teaching | དང་འགལ་ contradict to | བར་ that way | བྱས done, did, །།
གསོན་ཚེ་འདི་དང་དེ་བཞིན་དུ།།
གཉེན་དང་བཤེས་པ་རྣམས་སྤངས་ནས།།
གཅིག་པུ་ག་ཤེད་འགྲོ་དགོས་ན།།
མཛའ་དང་མི་མཛའ་ཀུན་ཅི་རུང་།།
Just as in the time of this and that life,
If [one] had to travel alone to unknown places,
Having left friends and loved ones behind,
All the likes and dislikes, what good are they?
གསོན་ alive, living | ཚེ་ time, during | འདི་དང་དེ་ this and that | བཞིན་དུ just as, །།
གཉེན་ near ones, relatives | དང་ and | བཤེས་པ་ friend, (one who are known as friends) | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | སྤངས་ abandoned | ནས and then, from having, །།
གཅིག་པུ་ alone | ག་ཤེད་ unknown place, elsewhere | འགྲོ་དགོས་ need to go | ན if, when, since, །།
མཛའ་ loved one | དང་ and | མི་མཛའ་ disliked one | ཀུན་ all | ཅི་རུང་ what is the use, །།
མི་དགེ་བ་ལས་སྡུག་བསྔལ་འབྱུང་།།
དེ་ལས་ཇི་ལྟར་ངེས་ཐར་ཞེས།།
ཉིན་མཚན་རྟག་ཏུ་བདག་གིས་ནི།།
དེ་ཉིད་འབའ་ཞིག་བསམ་པའི་རིགས།།
From non-virtues, sufferings arise.
“Truly freed from such, how to be?”
Days and nights, for eternity, indeed,
It is wise for me to think of such only!
མི་དགེ་བ་ non virtue | ལས་ from | སྡུག་བསྔལ་ suffering | འབྱུང་ come[s], །།
དེ་ལས་ from that/such/it | ཇི་ལྟར་ like how, how | ངེས་ certainly | ཐར་ be liberated | ཞེས saying, །།
ཉིན་མཚན་ days and nights | རྟག་ཏུ་ for always | བདག་གིས་ by myself | ནི (stressed), །།
དེ་ཉིད་ that itself, just that | འབའ་ཞིག་ only | བསམ་པའི་ to think | རིགས okay, fitting, good enough, suited, །།
བདག་ནི་མི་ཤེས་གཏི་མུག་པས།།
རང་བཞིན་ཁ་ན་མ་ཐོ་བའམ།།
བཅས་པའི་སྡིག་པ་གང་ཡིན་ལས།།
གང་ཡང་རུང་བ་བགྱིས་པ་རྣམས།།
By me, indeed, the stupid one who does not know,
Whatever that might have been committed
From whichever it is, either vow-breaking sins,
Or the naturally erroneous bits
བདག་ནི་ me/I (stressed) | མི་ཤེས་ not knowing | གཏི་མུག་པ one with stupidity | ས by, །།
རང་བཞིན་ nature, naturally | ཁ་ན་མ་ཐོ་བ wrong, mistake | འམ or, །།
བཅས་པའི་སྡིག་པ་ sins of breaking vows | གང་ཡིན་ whichever it is | ལས from, །།
གང་ཡང་རུང་བ་ what/whichever may be | བགྱིས་ done | པ་རྣམས those, །།
མགོན་པོའི་སྤྱན་སྔར་མངོན་སུམ་དུ།།
ཐལ་སྦྱར་སྡུག་བསྔལ་འཇིགས་སེམས་ཀྱིས།།
ཡང་དང་ཡང་དུ་ཕྱག་འཚལ་ཏེ།།
དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་བཤགས་པར་བགྱི།།
Sincerely, in front of the Protector,
With palm joined together and mind fearing pains,
Again and again, I bow down,
And then, cut through all those [faults], I shall.
མགོན་པོ lord | འི་སྤྱན་སྔར་ in front of | མངོན་སུམ་དུ truly, །།
ཐལ་སྦྱར་ palms joined | སྡུག་བསྔལ་ suffering | འཇིགས་ afraid of | སེམས་ mind | ཀྱིས with, །།
ཡང་དང་ཡང་དུ་ again and again | ཕྱག་འཚལ་ prostate | ཏེ and, །།
དེ་དག་ཐམས་ཅད་ all of them | བཤགས་པར་བགྱི I shall confess, །།
འདྲེན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་བདག་གི་སྡིག།
ནོངས་པ་ལགས་པར་བཟུང་དུ་གསོལ།།
འདི་ནི་བཟང་པོ་མ་ལགས་པས།།
སླན་ཆད་བདག་ནི་ཡོངས་མི་བགྱིད།།
I beg for The Guardians to take
My sins as only mistakes.
These [wrongs] in fact, have never been good,
Thus, doing such in the future, I never would.
འདྲེན་པ་ Buddha | རྣམས་ (plural mark) | ཀྱིས་ by | བདག་གི་ my | སྡིག sin, །
ནོངས་པ་ལགས་པར་ as to be a mistake | བཟུང་དུ་ to be taken | གསོལ pray/supplicate, །།
འདི་ནི་ this (stressed) | བཟང་པོ་ good | མ་ལགས་ it is not | པས that’s why, །།
སླན་ཆད་ in the future | བདག་ནི་ I (stressed) | ཡོངས་ completely | མི་བགྱིད am not doing, །།
